Xena Ugrinsky

Chairman/Founder

An expert on topics related to the application of advanced analytics to systems modernization and business transformation. She provides strategy and client advisory related to implementing advanced analytics maturity in support of solving business issues for finance, operations, sales, and marketing.

Prior to founding DataCrunch Limited, she was a Senior Vice President of Analytics, Cloud, and Strategy in the Civil Commercial Group at Booz Allen Hamilton. In that role, she was part of the leadership team that led Booz Allen’s efforts defining a commercial strategy that translated offerings and services provided in the federal and civil markets to the commercial market.

Before this, she was a partner at KPMG’s US Advisory practice. She built the national Enterprise Performance Management and Analytics practice in North America and subsequently served as the global Chief Technology Officer for the KPMG Global EPM Group, and was part of a KPMG’s firm-wide foundational innovation initiative around Data and Analytics/Big Data.

She is currently authoring a book on the rise of the Chief Analytics Officer and the implications for Operating Models across the C-Suite. It addresses the overall challenges for organizations as they attempt to embed a data driven approach at the enterprise level. More succinctly, it seeks to answer the questions – What will define the winners in the “Big Data race to competitive advantage”, what should our organization do, and why?

Ms. Ugrinsky has an MBA in Information Systems in Data from New York University Stern School of Business and a Bachelors of Arts in Finance from Hofstra University. She is a Certified Data Scientist from Data Science Central, a Hackett Certified Advisor, and working on certification from Johns Hopkins University in data science. She is also a Board Member of Graham’s Foundation, a non-profit serving the needs of parents of premature infants.

Rahim Murad

Managing Director/Founder

A marketing graduate and professional with over a decade of experience in marketing, sales, and finance industries. He has gained a broad knowledge bank of how departments within an organization function in unison and how to optimize them to benefit the company’s competitive intelligence and go-to-market strategy. He is a business all-rounder with an ambitious entrepreneurial spirit. In addition, he has maintained and held the director position in a publicly listed company in Bangladesh for almost 15 years.

Data adventurer and Google-certified data lover. My professional path revolves around data science. I find great fascination in unraveling the stories within datasets using my creative and analytical mind. A fundamental principle of mine is to work with data from an unbiased perspective. I find pride in my interpretations and conclusions in generating accurate and reliable results.

It’s important to keep the work-life balance in check. You have to make sure you take care of both your body and mind. For me, in my free time, I love kicking around the soccer ball with friends. It’s not just a great way to stay active, but also a great chance to meet new people and let off some steam. When I get a bit of downtime, I dive into video games, they are my guilty pleasure! And of course, hanging out and exploring new places always gets me pumped up. It’s one of my absolute favorite things to do!
